Bring the Action

With James Reilly we will explore the relationship of historical dance and historical fencing. We'll talk about fuhlen, indes, timing, rhythm, swing, tempo, and meter. We will introduce ideas about how to use a music and dance framework to understand the timing of fencing actions.
