The Anti-Gloss with Stephen Cheney

For every technique and situation in the RDL glosses, there is an anonymous opponent giving us the feedback needed to perform it. The anti-gloss is a re-imagining of the RDL glosses, from the point of view of the opponent. Each set piece play is re-written from the perspective of the opponent, and all of the pieces are re-organized, grouping together what Stephen Cheney thought to be common ideas, forming a set of anti-hauptstücke. The purpose of this is to try to put ourselves in the shoes of our opponent in order to better understand when to perform each move, and to try to gain an understanding of some tactics that the glossators might expect an opponent to use.
