Spar-B-Que!

The CKDF annual Spar-B-Que is scheduled for Saturday July the 13th and you are all invited. The location is the usual spot of Montante Farms. We are under new management this year and things are going to be a little different. For one it isn’t exactly a BBQ, we will be having make your own pork tacos (with a vegan option). The second change is: instead of a potluck, we're asking people who wish to eat to contribute money towards the food. Cost for food is $10 per adult, $5 for kids under 12, and if you're not eating we're not asking for money.

For your money you will be getting:

• 3 make-your-own pork (or non-meat) tacos on corn tortilla

• Salsa

• Guacamole

• Cheese

• Chips

• Pie

• Cookies

• Water

• Ice

• Plates, forks, knives, cups etc.

To sign up please purchase a ticket. Again, if you aren’t planning on eating and just coming to hang out that is free.

If you would like to drink anything besides water please bring drinks to share (soft drinks, beer, etc). We will also need people to bring coolers, canopies, lawn chairs, help with site prep, and cooking on the day of the event. If you would like to help e-mail: jongchensend@gmail.com.

People can start arriving starting at 11am. Tacos will be served from 1-3pm.
